Lewis Silkin has expanded its Irish employment law practice with the appointment of Sarah Lawn and Sinead Likely as senior associates and Jacqueline Ho as managing knowledge lawyer.

Ms Lawn will help domestic and multinational clients navigate complex and evolving employment law regulation.

In her new role, she will support clients on employment, industrial relations and health and safety matters, providing practical guidance to employers across a variety of workplace issues.

She has significant experience representing clients before the Workplace Relations Commission and the Labour Court, and is a member of the Employment Law Association of Ireland (ELAI) and the Employment Lawyers’ Association (ELA).

She has also lectured for the Law Society of Ireland’s employment law diploma for over 10 years.

Ms Likely previously worked at the firm as a senior knowledge lawyer, supporting colleagues and clients on developments and trends in employment law.

In her new role, she will advise clients on all aspects of the employment relationship, from recruitment to termination, including contracts and policies, performance management, grievance, disciplinary and redundancy processes, and data protection and protected disclosures.

She has represented clients before the Workplace Relations Commission, the Labour Court, and the civil courts in a wide range of employment-related claims.

Ms Ho joins Lewis Silkin as managing knowledge lawyer, bringing in-house expertise from her previous role as employment counsel at eir Ireland, one of Ireland’s largest telecommunications providers.

She forms part of the firm’s specialist knowledge lawyer team, which supports clients and colleagues by monitoring developments in employment law in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment.

Síobhra Rush, partner and head of office at Lewis Silkin Ireland, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Sarah, Sinead, and Jacqueline to our Dublin team.

“Their collective expertise will further strengthen our employment team and enhance the scale and depth of our offering for clients who are navigating an increasingly complex workplace landscape.

“Our growth in Ireland is driven by a long-term strategic vision, and we plan to continue building on this and investing in our team and capabilities.”
