Leman Solicitors has announced a range of senior appointments as John Hogan takes over as managing partner.

Mr Hogan has taken the reins from Larry Fenelon, now head of litigation at the firm, which has just doubled its footprint with an office renovation and expansion.

The firm has also appointed Andrew Nagle as partner in real estate and Bláthnaid Evans as its new head of employment.

David Pierce has become chairman, and Simon Deane-Johns has joined from the UK to serve as a fintech senior consultant.

Reflecting on the end of his term, Mr Fenelon said: “I am delighted that John is our new managing partner. Over the last 11 years the role has been challenging and satisfying in equal measure, during which time the firm has grown to 40 plus staff.

“I have every confidence that John will take the firm to the next level and will carry on our firm’s values of bravery, humanity and excellence. I am settling into my new role as head of litigation as well as nurturing Leman Consulting, our legal tech consultancy.”

Mr Hogan added: “Larry has done a fantastic job at the helm, and it is a great honour to be taking over. We have some very exciting times ahead and have made some great new hires. We have great strength in depth at the firm.

“Our recent office expansion and renovation has seen us double our footprint to accommodate our growing team and I’m delighted to welcome all our newest team members. I am really looking forward to overseeing the team and the continued growth of the firm.”
