Eimear O'Donoghue, John O'Kelly, Mark Borland and Roisin McNamara
The Law Society of Northern Ireland was pleased to host President Mark Borland’s meeting with Belfast Solicitors Association at Law Society House yesterday, joined by Chief Executive David A Lavery CB, Junior Vice President and BSA member Eoghan McKenna and Head of Member Services Roisin McNamara.
The meeting covered a lot of ground with fruitful discussions and ideas to take forward. Mr Borland provided updates on recent society successes and ongoing priorities. Further topics included access to the profession, remuneration and how the Society can enhance efforts to support members outside private practice, such as public sector solicitors.
“A big thank you to BSA Chair John O’Kelly for joining the panel and facilitating discussions. We appreciated members taking the time out of diaries to attend and hope everyone found the session useful,” the society said.
