Law Society launches Practice Essentials

The Law Society of Ireland has launched Practice Essentials, a new suite of resources for solicitors.
Practice Essentials was developed to help solicitors manage the day-to-day challenges of running a practice. From AI to people, processes, compliance and risk, Practice Essentials comprises a practical, ready-to-use collection of templates, guides, and resources that solicitors can adopt for their workplaces.
Speaking at the launch, president of the Law Society, Rosemarie Loftus, said: “Practice Essentials has been developed with real challenges that face solicitors being at the forefront. Designed with small and medium-sized firms firmly in mind, it provides practical, adaptable resources, that meet solicitors where they are, and supports the implementation of the resources at their own pace, and with confidence.
“As a solicitor practising in a smaller firm, I see first-hand how this new resource can address gaps in practice to enable solicitors to thrive. Its core purpose is to help firms operate more efficiently, freeing up time to focus on what matters most: serving clients and their communities.
“I encourage members of the profession to engage with these resources, and to adopt the policies to meet the needs of their own firms.”
