Law Society Council nominations now open

Nominations for election to the Law Society of Ireland’s governing Council are now open.
The Law Society Council comprises 31 general and four provincial elected members, in addition to 13 nominated members from the Law Society of Northern Ireland, the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association and the Southern Law Association.
Nominations are open until 5pm on 9 September 2025 and the Law Society has encouraged more members to get involved.
Candidates must be nominated by two other Law Society members who are not existing office holders.
