Kennedys promotes Dublin lawyer to partner

Dublin lawyer Carol Maguire has been promoted to partner at international law firm Kennedys as part of a tranche of appointments bringing its worldwide partner count to 279.

Ms Maguire is one of six solicitors — three in London, one in Chelmsford, one in Hong Kong, and herself in Dublin — newly promoted to the partnership.

She joined the firm in summer 2012 and works on non-contentious matters for a number of commercial companies and local authorities in relation to commercial leases and other property transactions.

Nick Thomas, senior partner at Kennedys, said he was “very pleased” to welcome Ms Maguire and the others to the partnership.

He added: “All have demonstrated hard work, determination, and have made a real difference to the business. It is particularly rewarding to be able to see people who have grown with us over a number of years reach such an important milestone in their careers.”
