Following six other appointments earlier this month, the WRC board now has a full complement of eight ordinary members.

Ms Fitzgerald is qualified as a solicitor in Ireland and in England and Wales. She has extensive experience in private practice and currently works as in-house counsel for a multinational pharmaceutical company.

Prior to working as a legal professional, Ms Fitzgerald managed a successful business in Cork and so she brings both commercial and practical business experience to the board.
