Johnsons Solicitors makes appointments in Belfast and Dublin

Johnsons Solicitors has announced the appointment of two new solicitors and two new trainee solicitors in Belfast and Dublin.

Jenna Watt, who joined the firm as a paralegal in 2013 and qualified as a solicitor last year, joins the corporate and commercial department, where she will assist partner Rhys Jones on corporate M&A and commercial contracts. Ms Watt also advises the firm’s commercial clients on employment law and is experienced in liquor licensing.

Bradley Duncan, who joined as a trainee in 2015 and qualified as a solicitor this year, is now an active member of the firm’s defence insurance litigation department, assisting partner David Craig in the large loss department in Belfast and partner Carl Rooney in Dublin.

Emma McKee and Darragh Carney have been appointed as trainee solicitors under the tutelage of managing partner Kenny Chambers.

Ms McKee has worked at Johnsons as a paralegal since 2015. She graduated from QUB in 2015 with an LLB and is now in the process of completing her studies as the Institute of Professional Legal Studies.

Mr Carney returns to Johnsons, where he previously worked as a paralegal, after a year working in the in-house legal team of a global bank. He has an LLB from University of Ulster.
