KOD Lyons managing partner John O’Doherty has been re-elected as vice-chair of the National Gallery of Ireland.

Mr O’Doherty has served on the board since 2019 and was first elected as its vice-chair in 2023.

Writing on LinkedIn, he said he was “delighted and honoured to be re-elected by my fellow board members for a second term”.

“I look forward to continuing to work alongside my board colleagues, chair Adrian O’Carroll, and the executive team led by director Dr Caroline Campbell,” he added.

Mr O’Doherty is a prominent criminal defence solicitor and former chair of the Law Society of Ireland’s criminal law committee.
