Inaugral OUTLaw Award

Inaugral OUTLaw Award

The OUTLaw Network has recently announced the launch of the inaugural OUTLaw Pride Award, which will be presented at the network’s annual OUTLaw Pride Brunch, taking place in Wigwam on Saturday, 27 June at 10am.

The OUTLaw Pride Award will recognise an organisation or group within Ireland’s legal sector that has demonstrated outstanding commitment, innovation and impact in advancing LGBTQ+ inclusion and equality.

Speaking about the award, Orla Hubbard, co-chair of the network, said: “We think it’s important to shine a light on some of the great work the legal industry is doing in the LGBTQ+ space and we hope this award helps to achieve that.”

Nomination eligibility criteria:

  • open to non-profit organisations, firms, in-house legal teams, public bodies and legal industry groups;
  • nominations may be made by the organisation itself or by a third party (with consent);
  • be primarily focussed on advancing LGBTQ+ inclusion or equality;
  • have relevance to the legal industry in Ireland (directly or indirectly); and
  • have launched or been active within the last 12 months (ongoing initiatives are eligible, provided that recent impact can be demonstrated).

To submit a nomination, please email the OUTLaw Network at info@outlawnetwork.ie or see  Award – OutLaw Network for further details. The deadline for nominations is Friday, 12 June 2026.
