Gore & Grimes Solicitors LLP has announced a three-year sponsorship of a Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM) initiative providing young people with free instrumental tuition and access to musical instruments.
Through the “Play it Forward – Expanding Music Access” programme, 26 students aged between nine and 14 will receive full three-year scholarships through RIAM’s Junior Academy, giving them the opportunity to develop their musical ability in one of Ireland’s leading music institutions.
Gore & Grimes partner Liam Collins said: “Music has the ability to build confidence and creativity in young people.
“Play it Forward ensures that talented students have the opportunity to develop their abilities, and we are delighted to support the Royal Irish Academy of Music in helping the next generation of musicians.”
RIAM director Deborah Kelleher added: “We are very grateful to Gore & Grimes for supporting this initiative.”
