Flynn O’Driscoll leads Irish M&A table for 2025
Flynn O’Driscoll LLP has been ranked as the most active law firm in the Irish M&A market in 2025.
The corporate law firm advised on 73 transactions during the year, ahead of Arthur Cox on 71 and A&L Goodbody on 68, according to the latest Experian MarketIQ report.
Mason Hayes & Curran entered the table at fourth place after advising on 59 transactions.
Philip Lee advised on 57 transactions, followed by Beauchamps on 45, Eversheds Sutherland on 35, Regan Wall on 33, Matheson on 30 and William Fry on 29.
Overall, Ireland’s M&A market saw 752 transactions worth €77.6 billion in 2025 — a 12 per cent decrease in volume but a 30 per cent increase in total value.
Experian noted a “shift towards fewer but higher value transactions”, with a 75 per cent increase in deals exceeding €1 billion.
