And finally… first dates

And finally... first dates

A lawyer was left with serious damage to his art collection, including Andy Warhol paintings worth nearly £750,000, after his date allegedly drank too much and rampaged through his home.

Anthony Buzbee, 49, told police his first date with Lindy Lou Layman, 29, went awry after they got back to his home and he called her a taxi.

Mr Buzbee told investigators in Dallas, Texas that Ms Layman refused to leave his house, hid, and then became aggressive.

She then allegedly tore down paintings and poured wine over them while yelling obscenities, causing £220,000 of damage to two Andy Warhol paintings valued at around £370,000 each.

He said she also threw and shattered two sculptures worth £15,000.

Ms Layman was arrested on criminal mischief charges and has been released on bail with a bond of around £22,000.
