Dublin firm P.J. Walsh & Co. Solicitors merges with Ken Kennedy Solicitors

Long-established Dublin firm P.J. Walsh & Co. Solicitors has merged with Ken Kennedy Solicitors, the two firms have announced.

Sean Sexton, who headed up the firm founded by his father-in-law Patrick J. Walsh in 1937, will stay on as a consultant of the merged firm.

Ken Kennedy Solicitors was set up in 2018 by principal solicitor Ken Kennedy, who previously worked at Matheson, Maples & Calder and Gowlings WLG.

In a statement, the firm said: “Sean Sexton has been working as a solicitor in Dublin for almost 50 years. He is highly respected amongst clients and colleagues alike.

“We are delighted that Sean will remain on as a consultant of the merged firm. His extensive experience in all areas of the law is an invaluable asset to the firm.

“This exciting merger has allowed us to increase our capacity and bolster our legal expertise and experience. It has also enabled us to broaden our client base and our network of connections.”
