Clio Announces integration with InfoTrack, conveyancing technology leader

Clio and InfoTrack, two industry leaders, come together to provide a central hub for conveyancing lawyers, creating a solution that will make legal professionals 30% more efficient, allowing for more time on client relations.

Clio, the world’s first and leading creator of cloud-based legal practice management software, announces a new integration with InfoTrack, an award-winning technology that provides conveyancing tasks and workflow tools in one easy-to-use platform. Together, Clio and InfoTrack make the conveyancing process more streamlined and efficient.

Using the InfoTrack integration, Clio customers can:

Conduct Land Registry and conveyancing searches

Submit SDLT and AP1 forms, including access to a unique AP1 management tool

Access due diligence products, including AML

Compile and send contract packs entirely online

To introduce the integration, InfoTrack and Clio are hosting a webinar on February 14, 2018 from 12pm - 1pm GMT, showcasing how the two systems work together and the services available. Those interested can register today.

Clio announces this integration following a December 2017 survey done by InfoTrack that revealed the need for better technology and digital communication between conveyancing firms and U.K. homeowners.

InfoTrack found that 55% of respondents expressed some degree of unhappiness with the conveyancing process, while some 44% of buyers said they did not receive enough communication during the process.

“In a world where we control our lives from a smartphone, we are used to digital technologies. Certainly our research points to this and the increased expectations of customer experience. The same is true when using technology in the workplace,” said Phil Whitehead, General Manager of Alliances at InfoTrack. “We have to provide clients technology that delivers to their needs as opposed to changing the overall process. That’s why we are thrilled to announce this real-time, two-way integration with Clio. We are both committed and aligned in meeting the goals of a modern legal professional.”

As legal technology reaches new levels of importance and adoption in law firms, Clio is continuing to invest in integration partnerships that deliver tailored solutions to solicitors’ and their staff’s challenges. Every aspect of Clio, including the iOS and Android mobile apps, now leverages a common Application Programming Interface, API v4, which lets partners and customers alike build and connect custom technologies to Clio—extending both the power of Clio’s customisations and the limits of the firms that use them.

“We conduct research, connect with our customers, and work closely with our integration partners to truly understand and meet the demands and needs of U.K. legal professionals,” said Newton. “We are data-driven in our process of providing solutions to ensure our customers can act effectively and efficiently.”
