ByrneWallace has been shortlisted for the Chambers Europe Awards - Ireland Law Firm of the Year 2017 by international legal directory Chambers & Partners.

The Chambers Europe Awards honour the work of national and international law firms across Europe on the basis of research for the upcoming edition of Chambers Europe. They recognise a law firm’s pre-eminence in key countries in the region. They also reflect notable achievements over the past 12 months including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service.

Commenting on the announcement, managing partner Catherine Guy said: “In 2016, we were proud to have been recognised as Law Firm the Year by the Irish Law Awards. This award has inspired us to continue to challenge ourselves to achieve even higher standards across the firm to meet the evolving needs of our clients and the market, reinforcing our position as a leading law firm.

“During the last 12 months, we have grown significantly, expanded our range of expertise and the services we deliver, and we have continued to strengthen our capabilities in order to deliver excellent services to our clients.”

She added: “We are delighted to have gained this international recognition by being shortlisted for this prestigious award. It is further testament to our ongoing commitment to excellence.”

In 2016, ByrneWallace was recognised as Ireland’s Law Firm of the Year 2016 by the Irish Law Awards, received two International Client Choice Awards, and became the first large Irish law firm to achieve the ISO 27001 certification which is the international standard for information security.

ByrneWallace was also short listed for six other Irish law awards across various practice areas.

The winners of the Chambers Europe Awards will be announced on 7 April at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
