Solicitors Bill Holohan and John Lane have announced the rebranding of their firm, which focuses on the legal needs of SMEs, as Holohan Lane.

The firm was founded by Mr Holohan in 1998 as Bill Holohan & Associates, later becoming Holohan Solicitors and then Holohan Law.

Mr Holohan told Irish Legal News that the rebranding would recognise the leadership and contribution of Mr Lane, who became managing partner a number of years ago.

After nearly 15 years of working together, the two lawyers have finally, at “the insistence-slash-urging” of their accountant, signed the partnership agreement they drafted over a decade ago – the long delay a “sign of a harmonious relationship”, Mr Holohan quipped.

Holohan Lane is the only firm of solicitors, notary public, dispute resolvers (accredited mediators and arbitrators), and trade mark agents with offices in both Cork and Dublin.

Mr Lane said the firm services the needs of businesses through the entire business life-cycle, “from incorporation to liquidation”.

Newly qualified solicitor Alan Raftery recently joined the firm in Dublin as a specialist in medical negligence.
