And finally... teller off

Pope Leo XIV encountered trouble with his banking after the customer service line hung up on him.

Two months into his papacy last year, Pope Leo XIV called his bank in Chicago to change his phone number and address, USA Today reports.

After he answered a number of security questions, the customer service representative informed him he must visit the bank in person.

After explaining the difficulties this would cause, he played the Pope card, asking the representative: “Would it matter to you if I told you I’m Pope Leo?”

According to his long-time friend the Rev. Tom McCarthy, she hung up on him.
