And finally… road to redemption

Turkey’s transport minister has been fined after posting a social media video which showed he was speeding.
Abdulkadir Uraloğlu was driving at 140mph, nearly twice the speed limit, in footage he posted to his X account on Sunday, Turkish Minute reports.
The minister posted the video to promote the government’s investment in the Ankara–Niğde highway, a major national infrastructure project.
In the X post, he wrote that the video was a “souvenir of the Ankara–Niğde highway with Turkish folk songs” and shared a quote from President Erdoğan.
He has now been fined 9,267 lira (around €195 or £168) for speeding.
Mr Uraloğlu said: “With the related video, I effectively reported myself.
“Speed limits apply to everyone. The necessary penalty was issued by the highway gendarmerie.
“I would like to inform the public that I will be much more careful from now on.”
