And finally… parklife
A judge has banned a man from shouting in his own flat.
Solicitor Anika Jethwa told Dundee Sheriff Court that Gerrard Kelly, 41, shouts as a coping mechanism to deal with his “difficulties”.
He risks a period of custody, however, if he fails to satisfy his bail condition, The Courier reports.
Mr Gerrard said: “I admit to shouting and making noise but with no criminal intent.”
Sheriff Alastair Carmichael responded: “Why not go to a park and shout?”
Sentencing was deferred until later this month.
