And finally… only in Ohio

An American state is to consider a bill proposing to create a register of job applicants who fail to show at interviews.
Ohio’s dystopian House Bill 395 would allow employers to report applicants who skip interviews without notice, NBC4 Columbus reports.
Republican legislator Brian Lorenz, co-sponsor of the bill, said the bill “rewards professionalism” and “holds applicants accountable”.
“When we do things like this it makes our state more competitive against the other states from an economic standpoint,” he added.
However, a Democratic senator said the bill was “another answer, looking for a question”.
The bill is set for debate when Ohio legislators return in October.
