Judge Rhonda Loo ordered Darren Young, 30, to write a “nice thing” for every “nasty thing” he said after he pleaded no contest to violating his former girlfriend’s protection order, the Maui News reports.

The Hawaiian man was also fined $2,400 and given 200 hours’ community service.
