And finally… ewe wouldn’t believe it

A retired lawyer in the Hebrides is suing a neighbour whose sheep allegedly “eyeballed” him and damaged his car.

John Macaulay claims his Ford Mondeo was badly scratched by the aggressive sheep’s horns, Hebrides News reports.

However, crofter Colin Stoddart insists that the sheep in question are too short to reach the damaged part of the car.

He suggested it would be impossible for his sheep to have caused the damage unless there were “two sheep acting in unison”.

He also challenged claims that one of the sheep “eyeballed” Mr Macauly through a window.

The case continues in front of Sheriff David Sutherland.
