And finally… Crimea river

A Russian lawyer is taking his ex-girlfriend to court in a bid to have her return the cash he spent on a couple’s holiday in Crimea.

Nikolai Zyablikov, 38, is suing Nina Zgurskaya, 29, for “illegal enrichment”.

He brought meticulously categorised receipts for flowers, food and drinks to district court in the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk.

He is claiming a paltry sum of around £485 - including legal fees - to compensate him for spending during a would-be romantic trip.

Though his first claim was dismissed, he has since lodged an appeal.

Zgurskaya broke up with Zyablikov after the holiday ended, leading him to claim that his former partner “decided to take advantage of me to have a vacation”.

But Zgurskaya says she broke up with him because she was expecting a marriage proposal during the trip.

She also said she trusts men “much less now”.
