A man in New Mexico has claimed he deliberately set his flat on fire because his neighbours were having sex too loudly.
According to the complaint, Reuben Cook, 36, told officers he would rather go to prison and “get away from the noise”.
Cook explained that he started the fire with a lighter.
He currently faces charges for arson.
