And finally… burden of goof
Two people were arrested after police discovered suspected narcotics inside a bag labelled “definitely not a bag full of drugs”.
A detective with the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office in the US state of Kentucky was investigating a suspicious vehicle parked in an employee area of a local business when he spoke to a man and woman inside the car.
During the encounter, the detective noticed a plastic bag containing suspected narcotics. A subsequent search uncovered a second bag bearing the label “definitely not a bag full of drugs”, which allegedly contained more narcotics.
Police said the woman, identified as 51-year-old Tricia Croley, initially provided a false identification card belonging to another person. Officers later established her true identity and found she was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
The second occupant of the vehicle, 48-year-old Damon Bennett, was also found to be the subject of outstanding warrants.
Both were arrested and taken to the Laurel County Corrections Center.
