Almost time for Lawyers Against Homelessness summer CPD event

Lawyers Against Homelessness will host a summer CPD event in just over two weeks’ time.
The anti-homelessness initiative led by barristers and solicitors has raised over €500,000 for the Capuchin Day Centre for Homeless People since 2017.
The next event on Thursday 17 July 2025 will focus on judicial review, personal injury law and professional negligence.
Guest speakers include justice minister Jim O’Callaghan, Ms Justice Mary Rose Gearty, Carson McDowell partner Kathleen Byrne, Law Society president Eamon Harrington, Feichín McDonagh SC, Aillil Fingin O’Reilly SC, Joan Lalor BL, Nicola Saarsteiner BL and Carson McDowell solicitor Aisling Fitzsimons.
The event is worth four CPD points and tickets are available for €150, or €75 for those with under five years’ PQE — with 100 per cent of the proceeds going to the Capuchin Day Centre.
