Comyn Kelleher Tobin (CKT) has announced the appointment of Yvonne Joyce and Sinead Fitzgerald as partners across its litigation and childcare & family law practices.

The firm has also appointed Ann Marie Callanan, formerly of AM O’Sullivan PR, as its first marketing manager following a year of growth across its Cork and Dublin offices.

Ms Joyce, joining the litigation team, previously worked with a healthcare defence firm in Dublin. She has experience defending clinical negligence claims and has been involved in many high value catastrophic injuries cases concerning complex issues of liability, causation and quantum. She also provides advice on all aspects of healthcare law including the duty of confidentiality and consent.

Ms Fitzgerald, joining the childcare & family law team, advises on all aspects of private family law, having advised state agencies such as the Child and Family Agency and the HSE on public childcare, mental health, wardship and judicial review. She has practical experience in all areas of litigation, as well as advocacy skills.

Debbie Moore, managing partner at Comyn Kelleher Tobin, said: “Following the firm’s expansion in Dublin earlier this year, CKT has one of the largest healthcare legal teams in Ireland. We wanted to embrace this momentum and continue to strengthen our offering to clients in our specialist areas of healthcare, childcare and family, insurance and litigation.”
