Dublin-based ByrneWallace is set to host former Taoiseach Enda Kenny at a seminar in Manchester this week which is aimed at promoting bilateral trade between the English city and Ireland.

Thursday’s event is being held in association with the British Irish Chamber of Commerce (BICC) and the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.

Mr Kenny is the keynote speaker, but the event will also hear from Gerry Beausang, partner and head of the UK group at ByrneWallace, and Feargal Brennan, managing partner at ByrneWallace.

Other speakers include Niamh Breslin, UK territory director at the IDA; Stephen Malone, CEO of The Malone Group; Shirly McCay, director of trade & investment at the UK’s Department for International Trade; and John McGrane, BICC director general.

The panel will discuss the opportunities and challenges for companies seeking to trade with or expand their business in Ireland, especially in the context of Brexit.
