Mr Justice Bryan McMahon to be awarded Hibernian Law Medal

Former High Court Judge Mr Justice Bryan McMahon will be awarded the Hibernian Law Medal at a ceremony chaired by Ms Justice Marie Baker.

Since 2018, the Hibernian Law Medal has been awarded annually to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of justice, the integrity of the rule of law, as well as to the independence of the judiciary both in Ireland and abroad.

Previous recipients include Baroness Hale of Richmond, President Mary Robinson, and most recently, former Chief Justice of Ireland, Mr Justice Frank Clarke.

Mr Justice McMahon will receive the award at a ceremony chaired by Ms Justice Marie Baker, which will take place at 6.30pm on the 16th of July 2025, at the Education Centre, Blackhall Place.

Admission is free but registration is required on Eventbrite.
