“We have made deliberate strategic decisions, establishing new offices in key jurisdictions, while also prioritising new leadership across the firm.
“I believe this commitment to evolving our firm globally, will continue to drive us forward collectively, while we remain laser focused on delivering exceptional work for all our clients.”
Andrew McGahey, the Dublin-based managing partner for Kennedys in EMEA, said: “We have ambitious plans for EMEA and have been strengthening our offices across the region.
“We have added four new partners and over a dozen lawyers in Madrid, promoted three partners in Dubai and one in Dublin, as well as adding a partner in Muscat and an arbitration partner in Paris.
“One of the highlights of the year was our Dublin office acting for insurers in Ireland’s largest-ever civil case, brought by aircraft lessors against insurers over aircraft stranded in Russia in the wake of the invasion of Ukraine.”
The firm has set an “ambitious goal” of $1 billion (€880 million) in global turnover by 2030.
“By investing in our people, processes and infrastructure and innovating together, we will create a firm that is fit for the future,” Mr Bruce said.
“I’m really excited for what lies ahead at Kennedys.”
