#InPictures: FitzGerald Solicitors complete 640km charity cycle

Three solicitors from Cork firm FitzGerald Solicitors have completed a gruelling 640-kilometre, four-day cycle to raise cash for charity.

Sean O’Riordan, Noel Doherty and Rose Murphy are pictured above at the conclusion of the Tour de Munster Charity Cycle in aid of the Munster branches of Down Syndrome Ireland and individual beneficiaries.

It was the eighth cycle for Mr O’Riordan and Mr Doherty and the sixth for Ms Murphy, whose nephew Finn was born with Down Syndrome.

Cyclists cover their own costs for the tour and all monies raised go directly to charity.

Ms Murphy told Irish Legal News she could “see how the funds we raise go directly towards providing speech and language classes for him”.

The charity also provides occupational therapy and summer camps as part of its services to both children and adults.

The solicitors are still welcoming donations through Ms Murphy’s fundraising page on everydayhero.
