MKB Law is sponsoring Vespa World Days as it comes to Belfast for the first time since the yearly global event started in 1954.
The forthcoming event was officially launched by representatives from MKB Law as well as the Lord Mayor of Belfast, co-ordinators, partners and other sponsors in the Titanic Quarter of the city.
Beth Kennedy, a legal secretary at the firm, is one of the co-ordinators of the event, which has never come to the island of Ireland and has only come to the UK once – London in 2012.
It is expected that 5,000 Vespa owners from up to 40 different countries will visit Belfast for the four-day event, bringing in approximately £7.7 million of additional revenue to the local economy.
The event will be sponsored by MKB Law and supported by Belfast City Council, Visit Belfast and Titanic Belfast. Air Ambulance NI and the East Belfast Mission are nominated charities.
MKB Law director Anne Marie Kelly said: “Through our colleague Beth Kennedy, one of the co-ordinators of Vespa World Days 2018, MKB Law is proud and excited to be associated with such a fantastic event. The Titanic and Vespa brands are renowned worldwide, and we look forward to witnessing the two combined next year in Belfast!””
