A massive operation to produce fake Harry Potter merchandise in China for sale in Barcelona has been broken up by Spanish police.
The Guardia Civil raided the Barcelona shop where fake Gryffindor house scarves, Ravenclaw banners and wands were on display.
All of the merchandise was being sold as officially licensed, but comprised counterfeits produced on the cheap overseas.
A total of 9,592 products worth over €300,000 were seized and a 38-year-old woman was arrested.
